Intermediate / Advanced Movement Efficiency on Ice

So you have been climbing for a while on tools but just feel that you have plateaued or you would like to take you climbing to the next level. Would like to be know the secrets to efficient movement? Maybe you would like to know learn some training tips.  This class is for you! The micro movement are used to help you understand what muscle groups are used for certain moves. Tool position and body position is broken down to understand why the tool is used in a certain way. Video is used to show the relationship between the tool placement and the body position.  A series of advanced moves will be set up and the movement broken down into isolation. This helps you understand the moves. This then helps you see where your weaknesses are and know what truly needs to be worked on. 

Prerequisite: Have used ice tools and climb at at least WI3 outside.

Equipment to Bring:
Climbing Helmet
Climbing Boots (Crampon Compatible)
Crampons (Adjusted to fit your boots; test sizing prior to clinic)
Climbing Harness
Rock Shoes
Tubular belay device (ATC or Reverso)
Locking carabiners (2)
Prussik/hollow block for rappelling

Optional Gear:
Grigri-style device
Microtraxion-style device
Your own ice tools
